I thought Firefox was supposed to be good at CSS? Here I am using 1.0.6, the latest, and it seemingly has bugs. Or maybe I’m the one with the bug as I’m not exactly the CSS expert. But on the left of this web page, where it says Search: Firefox has lost the border below that word! Internet Explorer 6 doesn’t do this. And why’s there an extra 1-pixel gap between two of the boxes lower down?? Seems to move depending on the content too. Sigh.

Umm. I got rid of the extra 1-pixel gap eventually. Had a line-height setting to 1.1em in body tag which added a one pixel gap between a ul border and the next div… makes no sense to me. Figured this out with EditCSS firefox extension, which is absolutely fabadabadoo. The line vanishing in the search box went away, mysteriously, for no reason. spooky.
